In Our State

Connecticut has a strong history of promoting and protecting a woman's right to choose.

It is in our state that married couples won the right to access birth control, the state legislature codified Roe v. Wade, insurance companies are mandated to cover birth control, and rape victims are offered and receive emergency contraception in the emergency room.
