Emergency Contraception for Rape Victims
In 2007, after a two-year long battle at the State Legislature, Connecticut passed "Compassionate Care for Rape Victims".  This landmark legislation requires emergency rooms in Connecticut to offer and provide rape victims with emergency contraception in the emergency department at which she arrives.
